This notice covers Xinghua Jianqiang Electric and Thermal Electrical Appliances Co., Ltd. (“we”), the company behind this site. It is written to be read rather than to be defensible, and it describes what actually happens to the information you send us.
What we collect, and why
When you request a quotation. Your name, company, work email, phone number, delivery country, and the technical details of the duty you described. We use these to prepare and follow up your quotation. The technical details are also what let an engineer check the design is sound before pricing it, which is the whole point of asking for them.
When you create a portal account. The same contact details plus a password, which is stored only as a bcrypt hash — we cannot read it and cannot tell you what it is. The portal also records your quotations, orders and documents, and the date you last signed in.
In your browser. A session cookie once you sign in, and two local preferences — your measurement units and your light/dark theme — stored in localStorage on your own device. Your quote list is also held in localStorage until you submit it. None of that is transmitted to us except the session cookie.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your details to anyone.
- We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on this site.
- We do not send marketing email you did not ask for. A quotation follow-up is not marketing; a newsletter would be, and we do not run one.
Who else sees it
Our hosting provider processes page requests on our behalf. Beyond that, quotation and order information is seen only by the sales and production people working on your enquiry. Where an order ships, the carrier and your customs broker receive the shipping details they need to move and clear the goods.
How long we keep it
Quotations and orders are kept for seven years, because that is how long commercial and customs records need to be retrievable and because a buyer coming back for a repeat part five years later is a normal event in this industry. Portal accounts are kept while they are in use. Enquiries that never became quotations are deleted after two years.
Your choices
Email sales@jqheating.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We will reply within 30 days. Deleting an account does not delete the commercial records attached to orders already shipped, because those have a legal retention period — but we will remove everything that is not covered by it.
