Oil Immersion Heating Elements
JGY elements are built for open or closed oil tanks and oil pools — 10# steel or stainless tube, 1.1–1.5 mm wall, a 100–300 °C working range, and a service life tested to JB/T 2379-93 with several indices above the national standard.
An oil immersion heating element is a tubular heater submerged directly in oil. Because oil coats and insulates the sheath, watt density must stay low — usually under 3 W/cm² for mineral oil — or the film in contact with the tube carbonizes and the element burns out. Jianqiang's JGY series runs 1–8 kW at 220 V in 10# steel or stainless, for medium temperatures from 100 °C to 300 °C depending on the sub-series.
Catalog dimensions are nominal. On any order the controlling dimensions are those on the drawing approved before production starts — and roughly half of what this plant ships is made to a customer drawing rather than to a catalog code.
