Coil & Steam Coil Tubes
Helically wound tube — heated or unheated — for steam, thermal oil, water heating and liquid cooling. Wound to the drum diameter, pitch and connection style you specify; almost all coil work is made to order.
A coil tube (also called a steam coil or pancake coil) is tube wound into a helix or flat spiral so a long heat-transfer path fits inside a compact tank. They are used both as heaters and as cooling coils. Because drum diameter, pitch, tube bore and connection style are all set by the vessel, coils are essentially always custom — Jianqiang winds single, double and small-diameter coils to drawing.
Catalog dimensions are nominal. On any order the controlling dimensions are those on the drawing approved before production starts — and roughly half of what this plant ships is made to a customer drawing rather than to a catalog code.
