Single-Head Cartridge Heaters
Single-ended cartridge heaters press into a drilled bore to heat metal directly. Supplied in high, medium and low watt density, with threaded bosses, integral thermocouples, right-angle exits, corrosion-resistant sheaths and finned variants.
A cartridge heater is a single-ended swaged heater that drops into a drilled bore to heat a metal block — a die, mold, platen or hot-runner manifold. Life is decided almost entirely by bore fit and watt density: a loose bore traps an air gap that pushes sheath temperature up sharply, so high-density cartridges above roughly 30 W/cm² need a reamed H7 bore and a tight swage. Jianqiang supplies high, medium and low density builds with optional integral thermocouples.
